Welcome to the home of Jo, a seasoned professional in the world of fitness,

yoga, and holistic wellness. With a career that spans over three decades, Jo has been on a remarkable journey, beginning with her early days of teaching group fitness and yoga in the UK back in the 90s. Her dedication to personal growth and helping others led her to pursue training as a personal trainer in 2006, gaining her Master Personal Trainer certification through The Australian Institute of Fitness, including Group Fitness and Older Adults. More recently, she became a member of Yoga Australia after completing further yoga with meditation teacher training in 2023.


She studied Yin Yoga through Power Living Australia. And further Yoga Teacher Training through Blooming Lotus Indonesia. Jo's commitment to continuous learning and growth is evident as she expanded her expertise to include continued fitness education with training for the menopausal woman. Jo has the added benefit of experience in varied health modalities. An East meets West approach to health.


Beyond her professional pursuits, Jo's personal experiences have shaped her understanding of wellness. As a working single mother, she knows firsthand the challenges of balancing personal and professional life. Her own encounters with debilitating chronic pain from a motor vehicle accident and mental health issues have deepened her empathy and insight into these critical areas of wellness.


In addition to her work in the fitness and wellness industry, Jo is a seasoned journalist who has dedicated her skills to non-government organisations and has always advocated for the underdog—the individuals that society often overlook.

In my pursuit of Inclusive Wellbeing by Jo, I recognise the importance of professional expertise in diverse fields. I know my scope. If I identify any functional issues during our sessions, I will refer you to a trusted; Physiotherapist, Osteopath or Chiropractor for a complimentary visit. Similarly, I work closely with mental health professionals and will refer you if I observe an issue that may require their expertise.

Is Breathwork hard? Will I hyperventilate?

Working with a teacher 1:1 will help you through any strange feelings or resistance. You're in safe hands. I'll teach to relax and enjoy all the amazing benefits of using your breath!

I've never meditated before. Is it difficult?

I teach meditation in an easy to understand approach. There are many ways to teach meditation. Together we will work out the best approach for you!

Do I need to be flexible to do Yoga?

No. I teach very beginner level Yoga. My love is YIN Yoga which is a meditative type of yoga. You don't need to look a particular way in your poses. The personalised approach works around any physical limitations you may have.
